Thor: Ragnarok is a Marvel movie about Thor being imprisoned on the other side of the universe and finding himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against “The Champion.” Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent Hela from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.
Most Marvel movies are pretty popular, but for this one a lot of people felt like it was less advertised than most of their other movies, except for the fact that Thor’s hair is gone. People were still pretty excited to see it, and many people liked it.
Sophomore Kyle West said, “I hate [the character] Thor but I loved this movie so much. I give it a 10/10 and I would definitely would recommend watching it,” and Sophomore Anthony Fazzio also said, “I very much enjoyed it… It is for sure worth seeing.”
Thor was a great movie that was extremely funny and really interesting. If you are planning on seeing a movie soon I would totally recommend seeing this movie. Even if you don’t really like Marvel films then it is still totally worth watching!
The soundtrack to the movie was very good. It really helped build up the important parts and really added effect and drama to the movie.
The actors, as always in Marvel movies, were fantastic. In this movie they were extra funny and kept us all laughing the entire movie. The actor that I think did the best and really pulled you into the movie was Cate Blanchett (Hela). Loki also killed it and is a fan favorite, as always.
I have yet to see one extremely bad review except for one that said they were disappointed that Thor cut all of his hair. So, if you were in love with his long hair, maybe give yourself sometime to cope with that before seeing the movie.
Everyone you talk to will probably say that they like it very much. Out of the three Thor movies, I would have to say that it for sure passes the two up by a lot. With the colorful, almost neon feel of it all I can promise you that you won’t be falling asleep during this movie.
Thor is a very good movie with both humor and seriousness. Swimmer Olivia Stephens said, “Definitely the best Marvel movie so far!” Thor: Ragnarok is a must watch! If you haven’t already seen it I would highly recommend getting your tickets as soon as you can!
