It’s homecoming week aka the first exciting event of the school year. This year, Bonneville is celebrating homecoming with a week jam-packed with activities ahead of Friday’s big game and Saturday’s dance. Here’s your lowdown on the week so you can get involved in the Laker hype.
Monday (9/17) is movie night! Be on the football field at 8 pm to enjoy sweets and treats while watching the classic football movie Rudy.
Tuesday (9/18) has the homecoming assembly in the gym during flex and the chalk fight at 6:15 pm in the softball field.
Wednesday (9/19) is when the festivities really start kicking up. The parade is at 7 pm, make sure to line the streets for that one to load up on candy before heading to the pep rally and bonfire later on that night.
On Thursday (9/20), make sure you get out to the LIA carnival from 5 pm to 9 pm to support B-ville’s clubs and crews with all of their super fun booths! There will also be a performance from Sammy Brue at 8 pm that night that you don’t want to miss!
Friday (9/21) is GAME DAY! If you can only make it to one thing this week, make sure it is the football game. Let’s pack those bleachers with Lakers at 7 pm. There will be so much happening during the game that you do not want to miss out.
And to finish off this awesome week celebrating school spirit, we have the homecoming dance on Saturday (9/22). The dance is at 8 pm at Bonneville and the tickets are ten dollars per person.
There you go, Lakers. Make sure you come out to these activities and celebrate your school spirit because Lakers are truly great.
