Hi, my name is Sarah Berni and I am the adviser for the school newspaper. I grew up in Sandy, Utah and graduated from Alta High School in 2003. While attending Alta, I was Editor-in-Chief of my school's award-winning newspaper (the HKI). While attending the University of Utah, I was also a staff reporter for the Daily Utah Chronicle. I have personally won several awards for writing and design both as a student and an adviser. I married in 2005 and moved to North Ogden. My husband and I have two children. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from Weber State University in 2009. While attending Weber State my major was English teaching and my minor was History teaching. I also have a Master of Education Degree from Western Governors University. I studied Instructional Design and Learning Technology. I love being a teacher, a journalism adviser and a Laker.
